Today, during a House Financial Services Committee hearing with Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Marcia Fudge, Congressman Bill Huizenga (R-MI) asked the Secretary for an update on Harbor Towers in Benton Harbor. This property has been the focus of several concerning reports detailing unacceptable conditions as well as issues regarding the safety of residents. In response to Congressman Huizenga, Secretary Fudge responded HUD would provide an update on the latest developments.
