Huizenga Votes "No" on Democrat Plan to "Deem and Pass" $480 Billion Debt Limit Increase

Last night, Congressman Bill Huizenga voted against the Democrat proposal to "deem and pass" a $480 billion increase in the debt limit. Democrats played procedural games trying to avoid an up or down vote on increasing the debt limit through a rule vote. Making matters worse, nearly 200 members of congress did not even bother to show up in person to vote. Instead they voted by "proxy." |
