This past week, Congressman Bill Huizenga (MI-02) was recognized by the National Federation of Independent Business as a “Guardian of Small Business” based on his voting record in support of pro-growth measures that boost job creation, reduce regulatory red tape, and lower health care costs. The NFIB is the nation’s leading small business association. After receiving the award Congressman Huizenga released the following statement.

"I am honored to receive this recognition from the NFIB,” said Congressman Huizenga. “As a small business owner as well as an NFIB Member, I understand how important small businesses are to West Michigan’s economy and how cutting taxes and reducing regulatory red tape make a real difference for small business job creators and the employees who work there.”
