Huizenga Votes To Permanently Cut Taxes for Middle Class Families and Small Businesses, Enact Tax Reform 2.0

Today, Congressman Bill Huizenga (MI-02) released the following statement after voting in support of H.R. 6760, the Protecting Family and Small Business Tax Cuts Act. This legislation permanently cuts taxes for middle class families and small businesses across West Michigan.
"The first phase of tax reform supercharged our economy by cutting taxes on job creators and helping middle class families across West Michigan keep more of their hard-earned money. The Protecting Family and Small Business Tax Cuts Act builds on the success of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act by making tax relief permanent for middle class families and small businesses. "An independent analysis by the Tax Foundation found that this reform package will create an additional 1.5 million jobs, increase GDP by 2.2% and boost wage growth. By making these important tax cuts permanent, we can chart a course of economic prosperity that lowers taxes on hardworking Americans and promotes small business growth and job creation in communities across West Michigan." |
