Today, Monetary Policy and Trade Subcommittee Chairman Bill Huizenga (MI-02) released the following statement after the Financial Services Committee announced the names of the Republican Members who will be serving on the Monetary Policy & Trade Subcommittee for the 114th Congress.
“I look forward to working with all of the committee members on correcting the unintended consequences of Dodd-Frank, increasing openness and transparency at the Federal Reserve, and reestablishing the committee’s jurisdiction over issues surrounding trade,” said Huizenga. “This subcommittee not only has the opportunity to make government more transparent to the American people, it has the responsibility to do so. It is my hope that all members of the committee, regardless of party affiliation, can come together to construct and pass commonsense legislation.”
