Huizenga Honors 2nd District Agriculture on National Ag Day

As the state’s leader in total value of ag products sold, the 2nd District’s agriculture industry has earned its honors today, National Ag Day, said U.S. Rep. Bill Huizenga, MI-02.

“Ag Day is just one day to take note of the important year-round contributions that agriculture provides to the economy and job creation in the 2nd District, and today we honor all the people who help contribute to this industry’s success – from those that sell the seeds or provide financing to those who deliver the crops to the stores that sell them. It is important for us to continue to provide an environment in which our agricultural producers can flourish and remain competitive domestically, and abroad,” Huizenga said.
