This evening, Congressman Huizenga released the following statement on President Trump restoring a maximum pressure strategy on Iran.
"I am glad to see President Trump restore the maximum pressure campaign on Iran. Iran continues to be the world’s leading state sponsor of terror. I will soon reintroduce my bipartisan sanction legislation called the No U.S. Financing for Iran Act to hold the Iranian Regime accountable. There should be no misunderstanding that the Iranian government continues to undermine American interests and threaten our allies through their funding and support of terrorism. I look forward to working with the Trump Administration to enforce strict sanctions on the Iranian Regime and the mullahs who support it." |
