Today, Congressman Bill Huizenga (R-MI) released the following statement after voting in support of formalizing the impeachment inquiry against President Joseph R. Biden.

“President Biden and this Administration have continued to stonewall requests for information from Congress,” said Congressman Bill Huizenga. “President Biden, the Administration, and Hunter Biden continue to move the goalposts and change their story regarding the President’s knowledge of and involvement in questionable business dealings. As more concerning financial information is revealed, the House has a constitutional responsibility to continue to investigate and follow where the evidence leads. Formally opening an impeachment inquiry provides the House of Representatives with the strongest legal ground to challenge the Biden Administration’s obstruction in court.”
