Huizenga Statement on Election Integrity

Today, Congressman Bill Huizenga released the following statement regarding the integrity of the November election.
"I fully expect a peaceful transition to take place when the Presidential Inauguration is held in January of 2021," said Congressman Bill Huizenga. "I think rhetoric coming from anyone regarding the results of the election on November 3rd not being accepted needs to be dialed back. We have seen challenges regarding election results in the past, most recently with the 2000 Presidential Election. We can address those challenges, IF they materialize. Our nation has a tradition of peaceful transitions that dates back to George Washington and I expect that to continue." |
