Today, Congressman Bill Huizenga (MI-02) released the following statement after voting against the “Out of Control Spending Act of 2019”:  

“This legislation significantly increases spending and suspends the debt ceiling without making even incremental reforms to curb Washington’s addiction to spending,” said Congressman Bill Huizenga. “While I believe a two year budget is the right decision, the fiscal negatives of this legislation outweigh the positives. Congress must get serious about defining its spending priorities, not simply agree to spend more.”
