Huizenga Votes in Support of 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund Legislation

Today, Congressman Bill Huizenga released the following statement after voting in support of H.R. 1327 the Never Forgot the Heroes: James Zadroga, Ray Pfeifer, and Luis Alvarez Permanent Authorization of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund Act: “On September 11th we said we would never forget. Today, I voted to make sure we do not. This bipartisan legislation ensures that both first responders and their families who were impacted by these horrific attacks have access to the care they need and the benefits they deserve. We can never say thank you enough for the sacrifices these heroes made, but we can make sure they and their loved ones are taken care of.” |
