Huizenga addresses Ludington, Scottville Community at forum
Washington,
January 24, 2019
The government shutdown and a variety of issues Rep. Bill Huizenga voted for or against were addressed at a community forum hosted by the Daily News Monday evening at West Shore Community College.
Questions — for the most part — came from Daily News Managing Editor David Bossick and former Daily News Managing Editor Steve Begnoche. Huizenga said he, too, is looking for a path out of the shutdown. “It is not what should be happening. So, how do we get out of this?” he said. “Am I going to stick with this and support this until this president gets his way? Nobody’s going to fully get their way. The president’s already backed off some of where he has been previously.” For more of this story, pick up a copy of the print edition of The Ludington Daily News or buy our e-edition. |
