Press Releases
Huizenga to Hold Town Hall in Lake County On Saturday
Washington,
February 21, 2017
Today, Congressman Huizenga announced he will be holding a stop on his listening tour for residents of the Second District in Lake County on Saturday, February 25th at noon. The town hall style listening session will be held in the cafeteria of Baldwin Senior High School. This event is reserved for Second District residents. Media is asked to RSVP with Congressman Huizenga's Office.
Please note the original announcement of this event took place on January 26th, and was to coincide with the Congressional Snowmobile Ride. However, the Congressional Snowmobile Ride had to be cancelled due to a lack of snow. In order to ensure residents in the northern portion of the Second District have the opportunity to express their opinions to Congressman Huizenga, an alternative location was selected for the town hall listening session. Additionally, Congressman Huizenga will be holding a second listening tour stop in early March in the southern portion of the Second District. Specifics regarding the second town hall style event are still being finalized and will be released at a later date. As a reminder, both events are reserved for residents of Michigan's Second Congressional District. |
