Huizenga Statement on FBI Announcement Regarding Secretary Clinton
Washington,
July 5, 2016
Congressman Bill Huizenga released the following statement after FBI Director Comey's announcement regarding the investigation into Secretary Clinton's handling of classified information on her private unsecured server.
"Today's announcement by FBI Director Comey validates my concerns that Secretary Clinton has continually put herself before the security and the safety of the American people. The FBI Director made clear that Secretary Clinton and her aides should have known they were sending sensitive and classified material on an unsecured network. Additionally the FBI Director discussed how Secretary Clinton conducted official business while traveling the globe on a system that is less secure than Gmail. Combining these reckless behaviors with the admission that her staff at the State Department burned public records detailing Secretary Clinton's schedules demonstrate to me that she continues to believe the rules don't apply to her. It's no wonder the American people don't trust her." |
