Huizenga Statement on the Supreme Court’s ObamaCare Decision

Congressman Huizenga issued the following statement on the Supreme Court’s decision on King v. Burwell:
“Today’s ruling by the Supreme Court amounts to little more than another bailout for President Obama and those in Congress who support ObamaCare. While this decision does not change the fact that ObamaCare has failed to provide the health care flexibility and choice Americans deserve at prices they can afford, it does highlight the recklessness in which Democrats wrote the law and how the Court has now interpreted it. “West Michigan deserves better than ObamaCare and I am increasingly concerned with the nature of this Court to constantly jump through hoops to protect this flawed law. Moving forward, I will continue to support legislative efforts to promote patient-centered solutions that expand access, increase choice, and lower costs.” |
