Huizenga To Hold Medals Ceremony At Armed Forces Day Celebration in Muskegon Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Congressman Bill Huizenga (MI-02) will celebrate Armed Forces Day by holding a medals ceremony for two West Michigan veterans at the LST 393 Veterans Museum in Muskegon. Edgar Hilton Hull of Kentwood will be recognized for his service during World War II and Ronald Jay Mokma of Holland will be recognized for his service during the Vietnam War.

Congressman Huizenga will be giving remarks at the Armed Forces Day Tribute at 2 pm with the medals ceremony starting at approximately 2:40 pm. The LST 393 is located at 560 Mart Street. Museum entry will be free on Saturday and the public is welcome to join in thanking these local heroes as well as other active and retired members of the military for their service to the nation.
