The 2014 Congressional Snowmobile ride will kick off on Friday, January 17th at 9 AM at the Newaygo County Sports Park. Friday's ride will begin in Newaygo County where a stop will be made in White Cloud in the morning and later continue though Lake County with a meet and greet in Chase and a town hall in Irons.

On Saturday, there will be a morning meet and greet in Wellston located in Manistee County. Later that day, there will be a town hall in Kalava at noon followed by a meet and greet in Thompsonville in the afternoon. Both the town hall and the afternoon meet and greet stops are located in Benzie County. Residents are welcome and encouraged to join the Congressmen on the trails as well as attend the meet and greet/town hall events. Press is welcome to attend any event, but an RSVP is requested.

9:00 AM - Start at Newaygo County Sports Park located at 4684 Evergreen Dr. in Newaygo and travel trail 3 North to White Cloud

9:45 AM - Meet and Great at Sally's at 103 South Charles, M-37, in White Cloud

10:15 AM - Leave Sally's, travel north on trial #3 to Baldwin then East on trail #30 to the Chase Creek Smoke House

1:00 PM - Lunch with Constituents at Chase Creek Smoke House, 7143 S Depot St, in Chase. Congressman Benishek will join the event in Chase.

2:15 PM - Leave Chase and travel west on trial # 30 to Baldwin, then North on trail # 3 to the Irons Trail system. Travel North on trail # 340 into Irons to the Oak Grove Tavern

4:00 PM - Town Hall at Oak Grove Tavern located 5482 W. 10-1/2 Mile Rd. in Irons.

The event at Oak Grove Tavern will be the last event of the day.

9:00 AM - Pick up riders in staging area the ski hill at Caberfae, head towards Wellston

10:00 AM - Meet and Greet at Kozy Kitchen Restaurant located 16938 Caberfae Hwy. in Wellston

10:30 AM - Leave Wellston on trail # 3 and head to the Benzie Manistee Snowbirds Clubhouse

Noon - Town Hall at the Benzie Manistee Snowbirds Clubhouse located at 14121 Industrial Drive in Kaleva

1:30 PM - North on trail # 3

2:30 PM - Meet and Greet at Geno’s Sports Bar located at 14848 Thompson Ave. in Thompsonville

3:30 PM - Back on the sleds and ride to Beulah

4:30 PM - Arrive in Village of Beulah

There are no events after the Congressmen arrive in Beulah.
