Huizenga Statement In Remembrance Of September 11th

Today, Congressman Bill Huizenga (MI-02) issued the following statement honoring the victims and the heroes of September 11th:
"Today we remember the Americans who lost their lives in the tragic events that took place eleven years ago in New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. While the terrorists who perpetrated these horrific acts thought it would plunge the nation into an era of fear and division, it did precisely the opposite. In the wake of September 11th we have seen communities come together, lift one another up, and unify. This September 11th, let us remember and honor the victims of this unspeakable tragedy, praise the courage of our first responders, thank our men and women in uniform and pray for those still in search of healing." |
