Tomorrow is Passport Day! Did you know?: U.S. Rep. Bill Huizenga can provide 2^nd District residents with passport applications for adults (age 16 & older) and minors (under age 16). Since July of 2010, all American citizens are required to have a valid U.S. Passport to travel in and out of the United States.

To obtain an application, please visit Huizenga’s Holland District Office at 184 S. River Ave., Holland, MI 49423, or contact Raaed Haddad at (616) 395-0030. Applications can also be found at your local Post Office.

Average Processing Times: Routine service is four to six weeks; expedited service is two to three weeks (Fees for expedited service: Add $60. Add another $12.72 for overnight service).

Requirements for a U.S. Passport (Must Meet All to Qualify):

·                  Proof of US Citizenship

·                  One Passport Size Photo

·                  Application

·                  Government-Issued Photo ID

·                  Minors MUST physically appear with both parents

·                  Payment

 U.S. Passport Book:

·                  Valid 10 years for adults and 5 years for minors

·                  Cost for first-time applicants: $135 for adults, $105 for minors

·                  Cost for U.S. Passport Book Renewal: $110
