LISTEN: Huizenga Hosts Teletown Hall Thursday Night

Washington, D.C., February 2, 2012 | Lauren Phillips ((202) 225-4401)

U.S. Rep. Bill Huizenga, MI-02, hosted a teletown hall on February 2, to hear from constituents across the 2nd District on current events in the district and D.C., including the Keystone Pipeline, what’s on the agenda for the year ahead in Congress, continued efforts to cut spending and promote job creation, the deficit and debt’s impact on the economy, his recent visit to thank the troops from Michigan in Afghanistan, as well as a number of other federal issues constituents wanted like to discuss.

“Tele-town halls are a great way to reach out to many people at once, and I get the opportunity to hear from the tens of thousands of constituents on the line as well as get live comments and feedback on the issues of the day,” Huizenga said.

To ensure you’re on the list to receive a call, please call the Holland office at (616) 395-0030 and leave your name, county, and phone number. As always, we only use this information to call you for tele-town halls and would never sell it
