Since July of 2010, all American Citizens are required to have a valid U.S. Passport to travel in and out of the United States.

My office can provide constituents with Passport applications for both Adults (age 16 & older) and Minors (under age 16). To get an application, please visit our Holland District office on 184 S. River Ave., Holland, MI 49423, or contact Raaed Haddad at (616) 395-0030. Applications can also be found at your local Post Office.

Average Processing Times: Routine service is four to six weeks; expedited service is two to three weeks (Fees for expedited service: Add $60 and another $12.72 for overnight).

Requirements for a U.S. Passport (Must Meet All to Qualify):

·         Proof of US Citizenship

·         One Passport Size Photo

·         Application

·         Government-Issued Photo ID

·         Minors MUST physically Appear with BOTH Parents

·         Payment

 U.S. Passport Book:

·         Valid 10 years for Adults and 5 years for Minors

·         Cost for First Time Applicants: $135 for Adults, $105 for Minors

·         Cost for U.S. Passport Book Renewal: $110
