Huizenga to Host Teletown Halls THIS Tuesday and THURSDAY Across the 2nd District

2nd District, MI – As Congress continues to debate the long-term bill to fund the government for the rest of the 2011 fiscal year and will vote on it later this week, as well as the 2012 Budget, U.S. Rep. Bill Huizenga will host three teletown halls this week to hear what his constituents think of the long-term deal announced late last Friday and the 2012 budget. The texts of the final bills are available on his homepage under “Latest News” at Huizenga.house.gov, and Huizenga encourages 2nd District residents to read them and let him know their thoughts.

The teletown halls will now take place this Tuesday and Thursday and will include all counties in the 2nd District.

“It is very important that I get my constituents’ feedback, and I encourage the 2nd District, whether it’s through these teletown halls or my website at Huizenga.house.gov/contact,  to let me know before the vote what you think and if you support them,” Huizenga said. “Teletown halls are a great way to reach out to many people at once, and we will poll the 10,000s of people on the line as well as get live comments and feedback on this very important funding debate.”

Telephone Town Hall technology calls many households throughout the district at the designated county times – but to ensure you’re on the list to receive a call, please call the Holland office at (616) 395-0030 and leave your name, county, and phone number. As always, we only use this information to call you for teletown halls and would never sell it.
