U.S. Rep. Bill Huizenga, MI-02, hosted a tele-town hall Wednesday and heard from constituents across the 2nd District on current events in the district and D.C., including the latest on the Supercommittee’s failure and what’s next in the efforts by Congress to cut spending and promote job creation, to the deficit and debt’s impact on the economy.

“Tele-town halls are a great way to reach out to many people at once, and I get the opportunity to hear from the tens of thousands of constituents on the line as well as get live comments and feedback on the issues of the day,” Huizenga said.

Telephone Town Hall technology calls many households throughout the district, and allows constituents to ask Huizenga a question live just by pressing “0.”
