ICYMI: AUDIO - Huizenga Hosts Two Tele-Town Halls Wednesday Night

Washington, D.C., November 29, 2011 | Lauren Phillips ((202) 225-4401)
U.S. Rep. Bill Huizenga, MI-02, hosted two tele-town halls Wednesday to hear from constituents across the 2nd District on current events in the district or D.C., from the latest on the Supercommittee’s failure and what’s next to efforts by Congress to cut spending and promote job creation to the deficit and debt’s impact on the economy, as well as many other federal issues.

"I got great questions and comments about the federal budget, Balanced Budget Amendment support, health care, the Supercommittee's failure, and the general partisan tone in Washington. We were able to reach out to nearly 50,000 households in two hours," Huizenga said.

Telephone Town Hall technology calls many households throughout the district, and allows constituents to ask Huizenga a question live just by pressing *3. To ensure you’re on the list to receive a call, please call the Holland office at (616) 395-0030 and leave your name, county, and phone number. As always, we only use this information to call you for tele-town halls and would never sell it. If you miss the call, you can find audio of the whole event the next day at huizenga.house.gov.
