Update: The 2013 Congressional Snowmobile Ride Is Back On!

Mother Nature has decided to cooperate and the 2013 Congressional Snowmobile Ride is back on!  Please join me Wednesday, February 20th on a ride through the beautiful Huron-Manistee National Forest. In addition to the snowmobile tour, I will be hosting several town hall style meetings throughout the day, which I encourage everyone to attend. I will be discussing access to the national forest, protecting the 2nd Amendment, Washington's out of control spending, and my expectations for the 113th Congress.

The snowmobile ride will include stops at the following locations:

  • At 9 AM we will do introductions and hold a discussion at Club 37 located at 3803 N. M-37 outside of Baldwin.
  • At 10 AM we will hit the sleds and head south toward Barski
  • At 11:30 AM we will arrive at Barski located at 4016 S Michigan in Baldwin for lunch and hold a town hall discussion.
  • At 2:00 PM we will hold a town hall at Woody's Bar & Grill located at 8773 Goldenrod Ave. in Bitely.
  • At approximately 3:30 PM we will wrap up the tour at the M-20 staging area.  The staging area is west of M-37 and a tad east of Bingham Rd., North of White Cloud.
I encourage you to fire up your snowmobile and ride along with me or attend one of the town hall locations listed above. I hope you can join me next week!
