• Back home, I heard most often from people concerned about the rising cost of gas and how it could affect everything from driving to job interviews to travel plans. Click here to see what Congress and I are working on to help lower costs and relieve some of the pain at the pump.

• On Capitol Hill, we are reauthorizing funding for our nation's Intelligence-gathering agencies, timely after the death of Osama Bin Laden last week. It's our outstanding military forces that protect us everyday, and it's one of my proudest moments in office to be able to thank veterans and their families for their service.
