An Update on Government Funding
On Friday, the House and Senate passed, and the President signed, a continuing resolution to keep the government funded through March 14, 2025. Thanks to increased accountability and engagement from the American people, the size of this government funding legislation was reduced by over 90% from the previous version of the plan. This is the type of common sense Americans voted for. What started as a 1,547-page Christmas Tree loaded with pork was whittled down to fewer than 125 pages.
After the slimmed-down resolution passed the House, I provided a live update where I discussed the measure and answered questions on Facebook. Click the play button below to watch the video.
