What's Happening In Washington:

Introduced legislation to protect and empower seniors by creating a tax free solution that grants seniors the flexibilty necessary to address their health care options
Introduced legislation to make the federal government more efficient and more effective by increasing Medicare transparency
Hosted a meeting between several area Michigan Chambers of Commerce and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor on pro-growth solutions to strengthen small business
Voted to expand hydropower production, cut regulatory red tape, and lower energy prices for rural Americans
Voted to fix President Obama's flight delays

What's Happening In Michigan:

Helped prepare lunches at the Kentwood Community Center with volunteers from the Greater Grand Rapids Red Cross for those impacted by the flooding
Discussed the need to reduce and reprioritize how Washington spends taxpayer money with the Grand Rapids Area Chamber
Was honored to be recognized by the National Association of Manufacturers for my support of West Michigan's skilled labor force and manufacturers
New VA Clinic Breaks Ground in Wyoming
