What's Happening In Washington:
This past week was a district work period, so I was in West Michigan meeting with constituents, area small business owners, and economic leaders throughout the Second District. Below are a few of the stops I made this week:
- Toured Howard Miller Clocks in Zeeland
- Discussed the rapidly changing events in the Middle East with AIPAC Members in Grand Rapids
- Participated in The 2013 Congressional Snowmobile Ride between Baldwin & White Cloud
- Toured Gordon Food Service HQ in Wyoming and discussed ObamaCare, Washington's out of control spending and the growing national debt.
The 2013 Congressional Snowmobile Ride Highlights:
The snowmobile ride was a success! Thank you to the Michigan Snowmobile Association for setting up a beautiful ride and thank you to everyone who participated in the ride itself or joined us at one of the town halls along the way. Special thanks to Club 37, Barski, and Woody's Bar and Grill for hosting the town halls!
