Huizenga Huddle: State of the Union Edition

President Biden's State of the Union Address

Last night, after President Biden delivered his State of the Union Address, I provided an update to Southwest Michigan regarding my thoughts on the President's speech. Overall, I think the President delivered a partisan campaign speech for a narrow audience that did not accurately reflect the crisis along our southern border or focus on the economic challenges Southwest Michigan families are facing. Prior to last night's address, I sent out a survey to residents across the 4th Congressional District regarding the State of the Union.

In the survey, I simply asked one question: What do you believe is the most important issue President Biden should address in his State of the Union? Below are the results from the survey.

This morning, I joined WOOD Radio to discuss President Biden's divisive State of the Union Address. I was disappointed the President seemed more interested in making political statements than working together to make policy changes to move our country forward.
