Tonight, Congressman Huizenga (MI-02) spoke on the House floor in support of H.R. 4498, the HALOS Act, and detailed how the legislation will strengthen the economy and job creation in West Michigan and around the country.
In his speech, Congressman Huizenga discusses how West Michigan has become a hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and small business job creation. Incubators like Start Garden have led to successful investment behind small business startups such as Boxed Water based in Holland, Michigan. The HALOS Act will make it easier for small businesses to gain access to capital so they can hire more employees and expand. This important legislation passed with strong bipartisan support by a vote of 325-89.
