Huizenga Announces New District Office Locations To Serve New Congressional District

Washington, DC – Congressman Bill Huizenga (MI-02) today announced new district office locations to better serve constituents in the new Second Congressional District.

"Redistricting and population shifts have altered the make up of the Second District," said Huizenga. "We will be consolidating from three offices down to two because 95% of casework is now handled through e-mail and over the phone. Additionally, having only two offices will save taxpayer dollars. To serve the new population effectively, the new district offices will be located in Grand Haven and Grandville."

According to 2010 Census figures, the three largest population centers in the new Second District are Wyoming, Kentwood, and Georgetown Township. Ottawa County remains the largest county in the district.

Huizenga and staff will hold office hours at satellite locations in Muskegon, Holland, and Ludington to ensure those that need one-on-one service have an opportunity to meet in person.

The Grand Haven office will be located at 1 South Harbor Ave. Suite 6B, Grand Haven, MI 49417 and the Grandville office will be located at 4555 Wilson Ave. SW Suite 3, Grandville, MI 49418. Constituents can continue to call the current Holland office at (616) 395-0030 until January 3. An announcement on new phone numbers will be made as soon as the new numbers are finalized.
