|My office always accepts resumes from college students interested in interning for academic credit. Opportunities exist in my Washington, D.C., Grand Haven and Grandville offices, during both the summer and school year.
By interning in my office, students have the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of life in a congressional office. Interns will be able to learn about the legislative process, constituent services, and community outreach by working closely with me and members of my staff. My internship program is open to all district college students, regardless of major.
Application Procedure: Click here for the Internship application. Once you have completed the application, please submit your application, resume, and brief 250-word essay describing your interest in a congressional internship and what you expect to learn from your experience via email to Carly at Carly.Nelson@mail.house.gov & Justin at Justin.Moralez@mail.house.gov. You may also fax your submission to 202-226-0779.
For any additional questions, please contact Justin Moralez in my D.C. office at (202)225-4401 or at
